Ricardo are an engineering business based at Shoreham Airport. Their main business is in vehicle and engine development but they also manufacture, amongst other things, the engine for the McLaren road car.
They are currently advertising for 5 Apprentice Installation and Test Technicians. Apprentices join Ricardo with a variety of different qualifications including directly from secondary school following on from GCSEs.

Ricardo are hosting an event on 21st June aimed at Year 10 students, and their parents, who would like to understand more about post GCSE options at for 6th Form study and Apprenticeships.
The event is being held at Ricardo’s Centenary Innovation Centre (Shoreham Airport); light refreshments will be available from 5.30pm; we will formally start at 6pm with an introduction followed by Ricardo graduate engineers and Apprentices telling their personal stories about their routes into Engineering.
There will then be plenty of opportunity to talk to SRWA staff, 6th formers, and Ricardo graduates/apprentices/HR as well as get hands-on with some STEM activities.
We will also be offering tours around our facilities so the students and parents can see real manufacturing and engineering at work.
